Who is Kristina Lawrence?

Kristina brings a unique combination of technical expertise, construction experience, and a deeply considered design sensibility to every project. She understands not only how a home should look, but how it needs to be planned, detailed, built, and lived in. That perspective informs everything from the architecture and spatial flow to the smallest construction detail and final layer of furnishings.

Her path to design began in science with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from CalPoly, San Luis Obispo, followed by a master’s degree in environmental science from the University of Utah. She returned to school for interior design, bringing with her the analytical thinking, curiosity and attention to detail that continue to shape the way she approaches her work today.

For more than twenty years, Kristina has worked in high-end residential design and construction, developing the practical knowledge that only comes from years spent on real job sites, solving real problems. She is comfortable moving between architectural plans, construction details, material selections, and furnishings, allowing her to see the home as a whole rather than as a series of separate decisions. New construction remains the work she loves most. Being involved from the earliest architectural conversations through installation allows Kristina to shape each layer intentionally, creating homes that feel cohesive, personal and unmistakably their own from the moment they walk through the door.

MEET Kristina

Kristina is closely involved in every project from the earliest plans through the final installation, bringing both a designer’s eye and a builder’s understanding to the process. With a background in construction, she is as comfortable reviewing plans and working through details on site as she is selecting materials, furnishings and finishes. Her favorite part of a project is standing in the middle of a construction site, making the decisions that shape not simply how a house looks, but how it will ultimately feel to live there, how it becomes a home.

Madeline leads our remodel and furnishings projects, bringing a thoughtful eye and close attention to detail to every space she touches. She works closely with clients throughout the process, translating their ideas into rooms that feel layered, personal, and entirely their own. For her, the best part is seeing all of those individual decisions come together and watching a client walk into a finished space that feels even better than they imagined.
